This week:
Tuesday- Joke day (Kids can bring jokes to read to the class)
Thursday- Watch the Disney musical at GES
Friday- Rusty Lord coming to talk about meteorology
Upcoming Dates:
May 6- Wear PJs
May 14- Ice Cream party for math facts
May 17- Parents will be invited in to see our writing and other projects at 8:15 (Invite coming this week)
9:15- Walk to Peterson Park
May 21- Field Day
May 22- Last Day of School dismissal at 11:05
Curriculum Notes:
Math: This week we will finish up measurement and start learning about quadrilaterals
Reading: Our stories this week will be fairy tales. We will focus on theme, visualizing, and figurative language
Spelling: This week's skill will be words with double consonants. Examples: jelly, bottom, pillow
Science: We will continue learning about types of hazardous weather.
Writing: Students are working hard on writing different types of poems.

- It is a great time of year to start looking around at home for books and other school materials that may need to be returned.
